Off the top of my head, just a few quick reflections about my PLE:
Hmmm... Nope! Not a single one of them! All the items gathered in my PLE mindmap below are performed together with people or with an audience in mind. First time I realize!
I've tried to assign a function to each of them by means of colours but many of them are suitable for more than one thing... They are all tools for collaboration... Twitter helps me communicate but also keeps me updated... Pearltrees is a wonderful curation tool, a way to keep my things tidy but I also communicate through it... Maybe a Venn diagram shape would be more helpful to graphically show all those intersections...
